Long time, no blog.

Hello!

I hope everyone out there is happy and well, we're good. Seamus just keeps on growing and growing, here's a bit of an update on how we're all doing.

Nana Karen (Aimee's Mum) and Seamus hang out a few weeks ago. Seamus is their first and only grandchild so far and tends to stop their house in it's tracks when we turn up.

Grandad Kerry (Aimee's Dad) is hopeless whenever Seamus is within a hundred meters of him!

Bath time, too cute. Bath time is one of my favourite times of the day, Seamus is a true water baby and is fast outgrowing his little tub.

Sleeping on the floor where his father left him :) I loved those little Pooh Bear overalls, I think they fitted him for 2 weeks before he outgrew them.

Big smiles.

Just for Reagan, this is me with a plate of fairy bread at our friend's child's first birthday.

Sleeping in our bed instead of his own.

Our Saint Patrick's day leprechaun. We had a great St. Pat's day, we went to the pub with friends. It was very loud but we pulled Seamus' hat over his ears and he slept while we sipped Guinness-like stout, choice.

Too cute, my boy having some tummy time. He is so keen to crawl it's scary, if you lift his tummy off the floor his legs curl up underneath him and he makes frantic kicking movements as if to take off. The house is not child safe yet so I'm ok with him just staying put for a while yet.

All smiles in his megasaucer, it takes up half the lounge, but hey, it makes him happy.

Reading in his highchair. Very serious :)

On Easter Saturday we had Seamus baptised. It was a lovely service and he was so well behaved it was amazing. Because the service was so long the water in the font got quite cool by the time it was poured on his head. I wish I'd had a camera to capture the shock and dismay on his face! Father Patrick moved quickly so we could scoop him back up before he cried and it was all over before he could get upset, thank goodness.

This is by far his coolest new trick, eating! After 4 and a half months of nothing but milk he's on solids. He eats a range of mushy stuff but seems to like apple and baby rice best. He still feeds off me 6 times a day but is loving eating food and is well on the way to being a bit less dependent on me.

Last weekend we stayed up at the beach in Emmett's sisters bach (holiday house). We had a great weekend and it was so nice to have a change of scene. We didn't do anything really exciting, just relaxed really and enjoyed some lovely sunshine. We're going into Autumn here so it was a chance to head up the coast and catch some of the last good sun of the year.

Last night's dinner got a bit messy when Seamus got excited and wriggled and rubbed it all over his face. He did get some food into his tummy and (alleluia) he slept until an amazing 6.45am!

He is a beautiful wee boy and gets more and more animated everyday. Lately he has developed a chuckle that we are more than happy to spend all our evenings tickling him to get to hear it.

Ok those nappys are not going to hang themselves on the line, see you later and I'll try and update a bit faster than this time, next time.
