Well this should be a nice surprise!

To all and anyone who still bothers to check this occasionally this should be a real surprise. While the OE is over we are on to our next adventure and I thought this might be a good way for some of our far away friends to keep us with the gossip.

Here are some basic facts to catch people up on our lives:

  • We are back in Wellington, New Zealand living in a house in Lyall Bay.
  • We live with 3 great flatmates (Karl, Nicole and Miriam) and a dog called Zig Zag.
  • Emmett is back at work at the Ministry of Education in the legal team.
  • I (Aimee) work 2-3 days a week at a local childcare centre and the rest of the time I sleep.
  • We (well me really) are due a baby in early December.
As you may have guessed bullet point 5 is the new adventure. As such this will be a blog of expanding tummy pictures and general sopiness as our brains slowly turn to mush. But bear with us, if you watch long enough there will be cute newborn pictures eventually.

So here we go:

24 weeks and all is well.

I'll try and make the pictures as generally interesting as possible. This is me at 24 weeks on the rock pools across the road from our Lyall Bay house. The real reason we were out there was to see the seal on the rock behind me. So those of you not that interested in my belly, check it out a cute seal!

Seeya,
Aimee

Hmm, the belly is better looking than the seal, honest.

I've just been updating my own blog, and Kev wondered about yours. Good to see it's still going!
