Seamus Thomas Geoghegan

Was born at 12:46am on the 9th of December.
In brief: waters broke 6am Sunday, Hospital 5:30am Monday for antibiotics, slow day, induction drugs started 3pm, epidural mid evening, fully dilated aprox 10pm, lots of pushing but no joy, little boy was pulled out by ventouse (suction cup on the head) at 12:46am. The little fella was posterior (facing Aimee's back) until the very end and also had his hand up by his head so that explained the non-arrival through pushing alone.

Birth weight 3.6kg or 7 pounds 15 ounces.

Absolutely beautiful. Aimee you look fantastic, and Emmett looks quite chuffed. Posterior baby is not fun, you all did bloody well! hope you get home and can be a family very soon. Bec, Jim and Ruby-May.
